2390428 - Furlough and Suspension events unavailable in MSS

We have created event reasons for Furlough and Suspension events but could not see the events as an option when trying to put someone on Furlough or Suspension through MSS action

SuccessFactors - Employee Central

1. Navigate to Employment Information of an employee then click on Take Action > Change Job and Compensation Information.

2. Select Job Information.

3. Select an Event and notice that the furlough and suspension event is not available as an option.

Product Management consider Suspension to be a HR managed activity rather than a manager managed activity. When suspension process works, usually there is an Employee Relations case process that is part of it. Until we have that functionality within MSS, suspension (like furlough) is more of a transaction recording rather than a transaction processing flow and will not appear in MSS.

Please use Job History and the Insert New Record feature, to record any Suspensions.
