2390755 - Error in Web Intelligence Rich client after installing Crystal Reports 2016

Symptom

  • After installing Crystal Reports 2016 on the same client machine, Web Intelligence Rich Client (WIRC) throws the following error when opening any report:
    com.businessobjects.sdk.core.server.CommunicationException$UnexpectedServerException: IDL:GenericContainer/GenericContainerException:1.0
    at com.businessobjects.sdk.core.exception.ExceptionBuilder.make(ExceptionBuilder.java:152)
