2390795 - Homepage - News Tile is Empty

Symptom

News Tile is empty on the Homepage.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Home (on the left hand side Toolbar).

You will see that the News Tile is not displaying any data.

Cause

The Blank News Tile is occuring because there is no news source maintained for it.

Resolution

  1. Go to the Fiori Client with an Administrator of the system.
  2. Select the Home Page.
  3. Select Adapt.
  4. Choose a role.
  5. Click on the News Tile.
  6. Maintain the feed news desired. ( Per Example, for Google News, it is the source http://news.google.com )
