Symptom
Items that were self-assigned aren't appearing in the "My Learning Assignments" tile of the user.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Learning
Reproducing the Issue
- As a user, self-assign some items via the library >
- Navigate back to the Learning landing page >
- Note that the "My Learning Assignments" tile doesn't include the items that have just been self-assigned >
- If there is an available "Self Assigned" tile, that includes the self-assigned items.
Cause
Product Management has determined that it's an expected behavior. If the "Self Assigned" tile is active on any home page, regardless if that page is active or not:
- If the "Self Assigned" tile is active on a custom page, but not at the home page, self-assigned items won't display on the home page.
- The self-assigned items will only appear in the "Self Assigned" tile on the landing page the tile is active for.
- If the landing page where the "Self Assigned" tile is active for is inactive, the items will still not appear on the pages that the tile is not active for.
Resolution
To self-assigned items appear in the "My Learning Assignments" tile on any page, the "Self Assigned" tile must be unchecked for ALL landing pages:
- Learning Administration >
- System Administration > Application Administration > Landing Page settings >
- For each tab, click "Add Tile" at the top right >
- Uncheck the box next to "Self Assigned" >
- Click "Select" at the bottom right > Click "Save" >
- Repeat it for ALL landing pages >
- Proxy as a Learning user and review their "My Learning Assignments" tile. The self-assigned items should be appearing.
