2390995 - Signal 11 at 'plc__flush' - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • Stack trace on infected with signal 11 at plc__flush():
        
    Current process (0x249066b) infected with signal 11 (SIGSEGV)
    Address 0x0x0000000001882f13 (plc__flush+0x673), siginfo (code, address) = (1, 0x0x0000000000005030)
       
  • The stack trace references the following functions:
         
    plc__flush()
    xls_startscan()
    rec_undo_session()
    abort__all()
    kill_proc()
       

  • ASE was not down and was still available to query. However, there was an orphan process using tempdb in log suspend status, ASE had to be recycled to clear the issue.
