2391961 - Message 'ex_print: sending error to the network' reported in log file - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • ASE errorlog starts reporting messages including 'ex_print: sending error to the network'
  • These messages usually appear suddenly and many can be seen :
server  ex_print: sending error to the network:2222:1:10
DBCC execution completed. If DBCC printed error messages, contact a user with System Administrator (SA) role.
server  ex_print: sending error to the network:44444:1:10
DBCC execution completed. If DBCC printed error messages, contact a user with System Administrator (SA) role.
