2392234 - DBCC CHECKSTORAGE fails with Error 9970 and Signal 11 in pchk__indcomp_row() - SAP ASE 16.0

Symptom

  • DBCC CHECKSTORAGE fails with Error 9970:

Error: 9970, Severity: 20, State: 1
DBCC cannot update the finish time in dbcc_operation_log table for this operation(opid = '2') of database 'MDB'. This can be patched by executing sp_dbcc_patch_finishtime.

  • It comes with an "infected with signal 11" error in the module pchk__indcomp_row() together with a stack trace reported in the ASE errorlog:
