2393903 - ACA: How to validate the XML structure - Troubleshooting Guide

Symptom

When performing the submission of the ACA (U.S. Affordable Care Act) XML files to the IRS (Internal Revenue Service) web site the files are rejected by structure errors.

The error codes are specifically prefixed with “TPE” to identify that the transmission had been rejected before it go to IRS (Internal Revenue Service).

As an example, the possible errors codes are:

TPE1105
TPE1106
Other errors related to the XML structure.
