Symptom
When feeding the Learning History Connector with Learning Events completed by the users, it's necessary to take into account the Learning History Key, which will make the completion record unique.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Learning
Resolution
The Learning History key that identifies a Learning History record as unique has the following fields:
- Item Type;
- Item ID;
- Item Revison date & time;
- Completion Status;
- Completion Date & time.
Please note that no Learning History event can be recorded more than once having the exact same key info for each user, regardless if the event is being recorded through the Learning History connector, Import Data, or manually.
IMPORTANT: Learning connectors can import thousands of entities in the system, so we highly recommend that customers engage with our Professional Services organization or a certified Learning implementation partner before attempting to use connectors or any data import. Additionally, it's recommended to always test in a Stage/Preview tenant first.
