2394286 - Manage Business Configuration: Error: Operation failed due to missing configuration for document storage vendor

• When importing Succession Data Model XML - the following message is returned "Operation failred due to missing configuration for document storage vendor"
• Cannot add fields to portlets in BCUI
• Getting an error pop-up with fingerprint=a1d84cffafb01fc1e38e3647a0f1d24c74831980
• When trying to save a change to any element in the Manage Business Configuration tool:

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

• Happens whenever you save a change.
• This only occurs in a newly deployed instance.
• When importing Succession Data Model XML - the following message is returned "Operation failred due to missing configuration for document storage vendor"

You have enabled the "Enable OpenText Integration" feature in Provisioning > Company Settings, but an option has not been chosen in Admin Center > Configure Document Management.

To resolve the error message, please follow the steps below:

 

1. Please select one of the available Vendor options in Admin Center > Configure Document Management and Save
   
   
   
   
2. Once saved, the BCUI will allow you to save changes once more.
