2394599 - How to handle your Z transaction types after the upgrade to SAP Solution Manager 7.2

Symptom

You have upgraded your SAP Solution Manager system from 7.1 to 7.2, and completed the Content Activation successfully.
In the 7.2 system, you are using Z Transaction type copies (ZMCR, ZMMJ, ZMHF etc.) that were created while on version 7.1, and you experience one of the following symptoms:

  • Some fields (Change Cycle, Landscape, Branch, etc.) cannot be edited when creating a Change Document in the CRM UI (Transaction code SM_CRM).
  • Your Z Transaction Types are not appearing in the selection list in the "Scope" Assignment Block of your ZMCR documents.
    • Transaction types like ZMMJ, ZMHF, etc.
