2395373 - Missing menu items and disabled toolbar icons - SAP PD

Symptom

  • SAP PowerDesigner has been deployed silently with the Client Management solution from LANDesk (similar to Microsoft SCCM) that uses the SYSTEM account.
  • The installation ran successfully with no error and SAP PowerDesigner opens.
  • Most of sub-menu items are missing.
  • All Standard toolbar icons are disabled, except Save All.
  • Clicking Help > About PowerDesigner does nothing: no window pops up.
