2395420 - Global Benefits - Error when Submitting a Claim

• When customer trying to claim reimbursement, system is prompting an error message while saving/confirm the record for request to go for approval process.

1. Go to benefits for a user and create a claim

2. Submit the claim : Error ???Saving of 1 BenefitEmployeeClaim throwed a Exception???

There is a custom MDF object associated to the Benefit Employee Claim Object

The externalCode field is set to data type 'user'.

Two Options to solve this

1st: Change external code (externalCode) data type from 'String' to Auto Number on the custom MDF object > Save Changes

2nd: Make the external code field visible and editable and maintain the external code when creating data
