2395755 - LOAD TRANSACTION fails with Error 632 - SAP ASE 16.0

Symptom

  • SAP ASE 16.0 databases set up with database options: "page compression" and "index compression".
  • Loading transaction log dumps on the local system or "log-shipping" across primary and secondary ASE servers for Disaster Recovery purposes.
  • The LOAD TRANSACTION process encounters the following error:

     Error: 632, Severity: 20, State: 2 Attempt to move memory with an incorrect length of -64613. Maximum allowed length is -74701.

  • "dbcc checkdb" on the source database is clean. There are no corruption errors reported.
