2396085 - iContent Launch URL Prefix for each datacenter to be used in Deployment Location

Symptom

  • The URL prefix needed to be used in the Deployment Location differs between data centers
  • This article covers which URL prefix is needed depending on the data center the Learning tenant is provisioned in

Resolution

Below are the URL Prefixes for each respective Datacenter, some Customer's may have different URL's as they are maintained by our Operations team. Any issues please contact Product Support for assistance:

Datacenter Launch URL Prefix
DC57 (Used to be DC2)
  • /learning/user/onlineaccess/icontent.do?Course=CUSTOM_eu&url=/self-managed/
  • SFCPART Environments (Partner Demo): /learning/user/onlineaccess/icontent.do?Course=partnerdemo_eu&url=/self-managed/

There are some exceptions where the correct URL would contain CUSTOM_eu_1, but that will be communicated to the given Customers.
DC70 (Used to be DC8
  • /learning/user/onlineaccess/icontent.do?Course=CUSTOM_1&url=/self-managed/
  • SFCPART Environments (Partner Demo): /learning/user/onlineaccess/icontent.do?Course=partnerdemo&url=/self-managed/

There are some exceptions where the correct URL would contain CUSTOM_2, but that will be communicated to the given Customers.

Note: If you do not see a Data Center listed here, there is no iContent server on that DC  (Ex: DC4 does not have an iContent server). If there is no SFCPART listed for the Data Center, then it's not currently supported.
