2396535 - Invalid SFAPI session error - Variable Pay Integration

Symptom

Error "Invalid SFAPI session" is triggered when running Variable Pay integration reports (RH_SFI_SYNCH_VAR_PAY_DATA).

Reproducing the Issue

Run Variable Pay Integration report.

Cause

Variable Pay Integration uses "SFSF Adapter" Communication Channel in order to access the related middleware, instead of SOAP or Odata communication used by other Integration Scenarios (such as Employee Data Replication and Onboarding).

Resolution

Configure the communication channel, in the middleware (SAP PI or CPI), using 'SFSF Adapter' type, following the example provided in the following SAP Help documentation: Variable Pay Integration.
