How to create a User Defined Status in the Business Configuration.

In this example we are using Tickets, the same works similar for some other objects.

  1. Go to the Business Configuration work centre.
  2. Select the relevant Implementation Project.
  3. Open the Activity List.
  4. Open either the Fine Tuning Activity Tickets for Customer Support or Tickets for Employee Support.
  5. Select the Fine Tuning Activity Maintain Status Schemas link.
  6. Under Status Schemas click Add Row.
  7. Enter an ID and a name for the schema.
  8. Save your changes.
  9. Now you can assign statuses to your schema.
