Symptom

  • In transaction sm21 you see the error message "SQL statement violates database system restriction".
  • In the corresponding work process trace you see error messages like the following:

            C  *** ERROR => HDB doesn't support a join for FAE
            B  ***LOG BYK=> current SQL statement exceeds a database limit [dbdbslst 4852]
