2396641 - Software Provisioning Manager error: Node sapjvmmanifest.mf does not exist - in the step unpackSAPJVM

Symptom

Database export of system copy using Software Provisioning Manager (SAP Note #1680045) failed in the step unpackSAPJVM. sapinst_dev.log file in sapinst_instdir contains the following lines:

ERROR    <timestamp> (root/sapinst) [iaxxbjsmod.cpp:97] id=syslib.filesystem.nodeDoesNotExist errno=FSL-02015
Node sapjvmmanifest.mf does not exist.

ERROR     <timestamp> (root/sapinst) [CSiStepExecute.cpp:1103] id=controller.stepExecuted errno=FCO-00011
The step unpackSAPJVM with step key |NW_Export|ind|ind|ind|ind|0|0|NW_getJavaForSystemCopyExport|ind|ind|ind|ind|javaForExport|0|unpackSAPJVM was executed with status ERROR ( Last error reported by the step: Node sapjvmmanifest.mf does not exist.).
