2396667 - Job Relationship becomes empty when an incumbent leaves the position

Symptom

When an incumbent leaves the position, the job relationship becomes empty for the employee who refers to the position.

Environment

Bizx

Reproducing the Issue

1. Go to an employee in the position org chart. (Ex. Employee ABC)

2. Verify the assigned matrix position. (Ex. Position P123)

3. Assign any employee to this position.

4. De-assign the same employee for the said position.

5. The job relationship becomes empty for the employee (Ex. Employee ABC)

Cause

This is an expected behavior if the position is a mass position.

Resolution

Position Transfer behavior:

1. When an employee is removed from a position that is referenced in Position Matrix Relationships of other positions. The position is no mass position.
=> Those corresponding Job Relations of the incumbents of the referencing positions, who refer to the employee who left the position, will be removed.

2. When an employee is removed from a position that is referenced in Position Matrix Relationships of other positions. The position is a mass position.
=> Those corresponding Job Relations of the incumbents of the referencing positions, who refer to the employee who left the position, will be synchronized in order that they refer to another incumbent of the position. This incumbent will be chosen arbitrarily by the system.
