Symptom
The 'Other Filter' in Ad Hoc reports' People Scope of Ad Hoc reports does not work when using the 'Team Manager' option, to run the report on behalf of other users.
Environment
- SuccessFactors Workforce Analytics
- Ad Hoc reporting
Reproducing the Issue
- Create a new Ad Hoc report for a domain that supports People Scope options.
or
Edit an existing Ad Hoc report built for a domain that supports People Scope options. - Select the 'People' pill.
- Click 'People'.
- Choose 'Other Filters'.
- Click 'Find Another'.
- Search for and choose a user other than 'Logged In User'.
Outcome expected by users:
The results should match the 'Other Filter' criteria for the chosen user (Carla Grant in this example).
Actual outcome:
The results match the logged in /proxied user's 'Other Filter' criteria.
Resolution
The behavior is expected. The 'Team Manager' option does not support 'Other Filters', only 'Team View Reporting type.
To use the other filters from other employees it is required to proxy with the user and run the report.
