Symptom

  • B1611 Release Enhancement:

    • With this enhancement, you can now re-assign a new hire activity separately from the original activity. An email notification is sent by default to the person the activity has been re-assigned to.

    • Hiring Manager activity need to be re-assigned to another user/manager

Resolution

  • With this enhancement, you can now re-assign a new hire activity separately from the original activity. An email notification is sent by default to the person the activity has been re-assigned to.

  • The New Hire activity can also be re-assigned separately by the new re-assign option for notifications.
  • Any notification that appears on the Work Queue can now be re-assigned in this manner.
  • For any N1 notification (standard Onboarding, Custom Onboarding, Crossboarding), it is mandatory to specify the post controller as KMS.XpressHR.BLL.SF.NewHireActivitiesPostStepController, XpressHR.BLL.SF
  • An audit trail entry, with the tag NOTIF_REASSIGN, is made when an notification is reassigned.
  • Notification to be sent to new assignee is available but OPT-IN to be consistent with current behavior.
