2398408 - Solution Manager Pings Incorrect host or malformed URL for Technical Monitoring in 7.1 & 7.2.

Symptom

  • There are Red Alerts  in the Alert Inbox & the System Monitoring UI for System availability. However when the System is checked, it is available.
  • "Error to perform http request cause by java.io.IOException: Unable to open connection to host"
  • "The host is down or unavailable"
  • URL called unsuccessfully - nested exception is java.net.MalformedURLException: invalid port '0'
