2398435 - Error "That name already exists!" for DB2 tablespaces with no database - SAP PD

Symptom

  • In IBM DB2 for z/OS, tablespaces may have same name but different database owners.
  • If database objects have not been created yet, it is not possible to create several tablespaces with same name in object list (Model > Tablespaces).
  • Although the database owners are entered in the Options field and are different, PD displays: "That name already exists!"
