2398674 - Warning “Server name and certificate name does not match (QWS 00002)” appears while accessing BI through QaaWS using HTTPS

Symptom

  • While trying to configure Query As A Web Service (QaaWS) to make use of the HTTPS protocol (HTTP over SSL), a HTTPS Warning message appears:
    Server name and certificate name does not match (QWS 00002)
  • Accessing the Web Services through HTTP is functional
