2399836 - Can't add Odata services (EASY_ACCESS_MENU and USER_MENU) when enabling SAP Easy Access Menu for the Fiori Launchpad

Symptom

  • When enabling SAP Easy Access Menu for Fiori Launchpad, you will notice the prerequistes for component SAP_UI needs to be SAP_UI 750 SP04 or higher, however you may have concern whether this requirement is for Frontend system or Backend system.
  • You may find problems when adding odata service EASY_ACCESS_MENU and USER_MENU, even though your frontend system has SAP_UI 750 SP04 or higher version.
