2400991 - Reorg rebuild and not materialized column produce default value - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • A nullable column may incorrectly use default value of a non-materialized column
  • issue happens only on a non-materialized column with fixed-length type
  • Reorg rebuild the table containing a non-materialized column will produce the same issue
  •    1> select * from t1
       2> go
        c1     c2   c3   c4
        ---- ----  ---- ----
          1  7700    5 7700 <---- c4 uses default value of c2
