Symptom

  • A client connection is terminated unexpectedly.
  • The ASE errorlog contains an "infected with Signal 11" error in the module memmove() with a stack trace:

Current process (0x19000d) infected with signal 11 (SIGSEGV)
Address 0x0x0000003540279ea4 (memmove+0x44), siginfo (code, address) = (128, 0x(nil))

  • The stack trace contains the functions:

tdsrecv__process_batchparam
