2402284 - Signal 11 in prot_pcr_get_perms() - SAP ASE 16.0

Symptom

  • Client connection is unexpectedly terminated.
  • ASE errorlog contains an "infected with signal 11" error (Unix/Linux) or a system exception (0xc0000005) generated by a storage access violation (Windows) with the module prot_pcr_get_perms() in the stack trace.
  • Stack trace may include the following functions:

prot_pcr_get_perms
prot_driver
rvm__builtin_dac_dispatcher
rvm_dispatch
rvm_cfgadm_check_access
cfg_main
