Symptom

  • The following error is reported in the ASE error log:

kernel  shutdownproc: shutting down server
kernel  ueshutdown: exiting
kernel  Main thread performing final shutdown.
kernel Unable to insert task into scheduler as the scheduler has already shutdown.
kernel  Blocking call queue shutdown.

  • ASE is no longer running.
  • User has an OS monitoring script to monitor ASE pids.
