2402843 - System Automatically Recalculates Scrap In Production Proposal.

System recalculates Scrap for Input Products whose quantities are changed upon Release of Production Proposal.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go To Production Control Work Center.
2. Go To Production Orders View.
3. Find Production Order ABC. (ABC represents the Production Order ID).
4. Navigate to tab Products, Sub-tab Input Components.
5. See Scrap has been changed.

When the user manually creates a New Production Proposal, based on the Production Model set-up, the system calculates the Input Quantities for the given Output Quantity.

If the user changes the quantity of input product, system will recalculate the scrap for changed input components until the Production Proposal is Released.

This is a designed system behavior.

If the user wishes not to recalculate the scrap for input components, the user can change or adjust the values directly in Production Order.
