2405389 - System crashes when trying to Add Multiple Logistics Areas to a Location XXX

Symptom

You are trying to Add Multiple Logistics Areas to a Location XXX and the system crashes with the message below:

 Unexpected error during backend processing

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Supply Chain Design Master Data
  2. Select Locations
  3. Search for the Location XXX
  4. Edit the Location XXX
  5. Select Edit Layout
  6. Select a Logistics Area
  7. Select Add Multiple Logistics Areas
  8. Fill the fields
  9. Choose Ok
  10. System crashes showing the message:

Unexpected error during backend processing

Cause

The error occurs because there is too many Logistics Areas being added to the Location at the same time, on the fields From Logistics Area ID and To Logistics Area ID after choosing Add Multiple Logistics Areas.

Resolution

You can add theses Logistics Areas in batches instead of adding all at the same time. For example, add the Logistics Areas 1 to 100, then 101 to 200 and so on.
