2406666 - Unable to Create Tax Number Types

You are not being able to create new Tax Number Types

SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer

1. Go to Customers work center.
2. Select the Accounts view.
3. Open Account ABC.
4. Go to the Tax Numbers facet.
5. Click on Add.
6. Check the Tax Number Type field, there is no option to create a new Tax Number Type.

This is the current standard behavior.

The Country maintained on the Account does not have tax registration in the system, Due to this, Tax Number Type is not available when you try to maintain tax data for the account.

It is possible to add new Tax Number Type on Business Configuration following the below steps:

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
2. Go to the Implementation Projects view.
3. Click on Open Activity List.
4. Open the Activity General Businesss Partners.
5. Click on Maintain Tax Number Types.
6. There you will be able to add the new Tax Number Type.
