2408056 - MDM unable to connect to MaxDB

Symptom

SAP MDM 7.1 system install completed successfully, but user can connect and mount the server via MDM Console.
 
Following error appears: "Error Retrieving DBMS Settings" and "Unable to connect with Database Server".
