Symptom
Customer wants to have leaves deducted considering non-working days and holidays
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
Reproducing the Issue
- Try to change Calculation based on field of a time type with time account to calendar days
- An error pops up and we cannot set calendar days option
3. The time type here is having a time account and we cannot change the Duration Display According To to calendar days
4. We will get error: “You cannot choose the calendar days duration display setting if time account types are assigned.”
Cause
- Only work schedule options can be added if time account types are assigned to a time type
- Time account type- calendar days configuration is not supported inside a time type
Resolution
- To address the requirement of considering non-working days for a time type with time accounts, use Absence counting method:
2. Select holidays and weekends to consider all non-working days for counting absences.
3. Assign this absence counting method in the time type:
