You are noticing that a Workflow Rule job is triggering in a different time than you set in the Company Settings.
Extension fields created in format Date, will work in UTC time zone. However, extension fields created with format Date/Time type will consider the Company Settings time zone.
In case you want the Extension Field to use the local time zone of the company for example, field should be created in type Date/Time.
In order to create the same you can do the following: (i will create an ExntesionField in Account)
- Go the Customer work center.
- Enter in Adaptation Mode.
- Select Business Context you want to add the field.
- Click on New Field.
- Select Date/time type same as screenshot shows.
