SAP BusinessObjects Cloud breaks when email of ADMIN user is changed.

Creating a new user with email user1@example.com receives "A user with email user1@example.com already exists"

user1@example.com receives "258 – insufficient privilege: Not authorized"

user2@example.com receives "258 – insufficient privilege: Not authorized"

• SAP BusinessObjects Cloud

1. Log in as ADMIN using email user1@example.com
2. Remove user with email user2@example.com
3. Save the change
4. Update the email address of ADMIN to user2@example.com
5. Save the change
6. Try to create a new user with email user1@example.com and receive "A user with email user1@example.com already exists"
7. Log out as ADMIN
8. Try to log in as user2@example.com and receive "258 – insufficient privilege: Not authorized"
9. Try to log in as user1@example.com and receive "258 – insufficient privilege: Not authorized"

Email of ADMIN user in an active tenant cannot be changed

1. Contact SAP Product Support using component LOD-ANA-BI
2. Ask to have the email address of the ADMIN user restored to the original
3. Ask to have any other failing users repaired
