Symptom

Below shortdump occurs in the system, when using SAP GUI for HTML (webgui):

Short Text                                                                                        
    The current application has triggered a termination with a short dump.                        

 

What happened?                                                                                    
    The current application program has detected a situation that should                          
    not occur. A termination with short dump has therefore been triggered                         
    by the key word MESSAGE (type X).                                                             

 

In addition to this, the Workprocess trace (dev_w*) contains below rows:

W          *** ERROR => autom: "CreateObject"
    #0: STRING "SAP.DataProvider.1"
    #1: LONG "1033"
could not create object

or

W autom (...): .CALL METHOD "CreateObject"
