2410809 - Not Able to Upload the Services Using the Excel Add-in Due to Errors

Your requirement is to upload Services in the system using Excel Add-in. During the upload, you see errors:
The value ‘2 - Active’ of the field ‘Sales Status’ is invalid
Account determination group for service in company is missing

1. Go to Product Data work center
2. Select New-> Service from Microsoft Excel
3. Download the New Services XML template
4. Fill the details
5. Upload the file using Excel Add-in
6. System throws errors

The standard excel template does not allow to create a Service with an Active Sales status nor does it allow to enter Account Determination Groups. Valuation status cannot be set Active without maintaining Account Determination Group.

In the workcenter Business Configuration, we have a an activity Migration of Service Valuation Data to update the Valuation data of Services. Before you proceed with Migration approach, ensure that the relevant Service(s) should have created in the system with Valuation data, irrespective of Active status or In Preparation status.
