2410979 - SAP Adaptive Server Entreprise (ASE): Msg 2510 and 7928 - key mismatch / Index is not consistent error on saptools table

Symptom

DBACockpit transaction generates the following error :

 

  • Msg 2510, Level 16, State 2:
Key mismatch between index page %d, partition ID %d; at offset %d; and data page %d (row ID %d), partition ID %d. Drop and re-create index ID %d of table '%.*s' in database '%.*s'.


  • Msg 7928, Level 18, State 1:
Index %.*s is not consistent; found %ld leaf rows but %ld data rows.  Drop and recreate the index.
