2411197 - Opportunity Owner Deleted/ Changed by SAP User

You noticed that some Opportunities have their Owners deleted and when you go to see the Changes log, the User who did it is: SAP_SYSTEM.

To reproduce the scenario:

1. Sales Work Centre;
2. Opportunities View;
3. Open Opportunity XYZ (XYZ represents one of the Opportunities that had the Owner changed);
4. Go to Changes facet;
5. See that the Entry for Owner was done by SAP_SYSTEM.

You have Opportunity Party Redetermination Active on the System.

Opportunity Party Redetermination is activated by answering the Question "Do you want to automatically re-determine opportunity parties based on changes to the account team of the associated account?" on the Questions Step (Step 4) of the Project Scope.

This means that every time a change is made to the Account Team to which the Opportunity belongs, the rules for Opportunity Party Determination will run.

There is an option to exclude some of the parties from the redetermination. To go there:

1. Business Configuration Work Centre;
2. Implementation Projects View;
3. Click on Open Activity List;
4. Fine Tune;
5. Open the Opportunities activity;
6. Maintain Involved Parties;
7. On the Party you wan to exclude, selec the option to do so on the Column Realignment.
