2411379 - HTTP 406 Not Acceptable response is returned to an OData request

Symptom

HTTP 406 - Not Acceptable response is returned from the server when a GET request is sent to an SAP Gateway OData service from an external application or Gateway Client (/IWFND/GW_CLIENT).

The following error appears in the Gateway Error Log (/IWFND/ERROR_LOG):

"The resource identified by the request is only capable of generating response entities which have content characteristics not acceptable according to the accept headers sent in the request"
