Symptom
HTTP/HTTPS authentication provider is able to give back various HTTP response codes, however SMP doesn't give back these codes to the client. SMP only gives an HTTP 200 (authorised) or HTTP 401 (unauthorised) back to the client. This way it is unclear for the client if the 401 is caused due to errors at the authentication provider, or incorrect credentials.
