2411425 - Unable to filter or sort by fields in Candidate Workbench - Recruiting Management

In this article, we will cover two scenarios:

• When you are trying to sort the candidates in Candidate Workbench, it's not working as expected, the values are showing randomly and not following an order.
• When selecting a custom field as filter, (e.g Nationality) there is no action from the system after selecting it.

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

1. Go to the candidate summary of any job requisition
2. In the talent pipeline, sort the candidates based on the values in any custom field
3. The values in this custom field are not sorted correctly

In Provisioning > Configure Reportable Custom Fields, the field ID for the custom fields are mapped as reportable in the Application section as well as the Candidate section, but under different table indexes (e.g. the field is mapped as Text8 in Application table and Text4 in Candidate table).

There are 2 ways to handle this:

1. Map the field ID in both tables with the same index. (e.g. Text1 in Application table and Text1 in Candidate table as well).
2. In Provisioning > Configure reportable Custom Fields, you can remove the mapping of the custom field ID either from the Application or from the Candidate section. In this case, since you are trying to sort the candidate applications based on the sorted column, it is suggested that you remove the mapping of the custom field ID from the Candidate section and retain the mapping in the Application section. NOTE: If you remove the mapping of the custom field ID from the Candidate section, you might lose the reportability of this candidate profile field in Ad hoc reports.

Once this mapping is reviewed and saved, please, re-run the sync to sync the data to the database.
