Symptom
While importing Applications, the Application Import Job in provisioning is running with the warning message below:
----Candidate <candidate@example.com> is un available in the System----
However, you can find the candidate in the system if you search by email address.
Cause
If customer imports applications post go-live, it is possible to have applications with an older application_date, but a higher applicationId. This can cause difficulties when trying to find a candidate’s most recent application.
Resolution
Since the customer is already live, it is possible that the candidate in the warning message had already applied to a requisition in the system earlier. So, when you search by email address, the candidate is searchable.
Now when you are importing these candidate applications, the candidate's actual application date is old but his applicationId is latest as per your job import file.
Due to this mismatch, the warning messages might be coming up when you run the application import job.
