2411612 - Maintain Concurrent Tax Identification Number is not Possible

You have the use case of concurrent employment scenarios and want to maintain the same Tax Identification Number (TIN) for the same employee.

1. Go to Personnel Adminstration work center.
2. Go to Employees view.
3. Search and Find the respective Employee.
4. Open Time File of Employee and go the Tax Data tab and Basic Tax Data subtab.

You get an error message: Tax Identification Number already exists for an employee, Save failed.

ByDesign does currently not support concurrent employment scenarios and you cannot maintain the same Tax Identification Number for two employees.

If you are using Payroll functionality a recommendation is to manually add the Tax Idenfication Number (TIN) to the data file that is sent to the payroll provider.
