2412502 - Formatting option (T) for removing thousands separator is not working

Symptom

Symbols of the DEC, CURR, INT, and QUAN data types are normally formatted with a "thousands" separator character. The formatting options (T) for removing thousands separator is not working in SAPscript/Smart Forms.
