2413485 - Support Inactive Users to use Document Generation - EC

Is it possible for an administrator to generate 'Document' for inactive users in SuccessFactors Employee Central?

• As of release b1805, it is possible to generate documents for inactive users in an instance. For example, service certificates and good conduct certificates for ex-employees
• Document generation for for inactive employees only work into Generate Document section (admin view). Will not be possible to gereate it via Take Action
• This includes future dated hires as well
• When generating a document for a future dated hire, you have to select the hire date or a later date in the field As of Date:

NOTE: If the option "Enable target group based filtering for Worker fields. If checked, Worker type fields value dropdown list will based on the target group settings in role based permission. If not checked, all users will be available in the dropdown list" is switched on, then inactive users will not appear in the search, even when the inactive users are included in the Target population.

There is an enhancement request to fix this issue. However, the fix date is not yet confirmed. Once this is fixed, it'll be included in the release notes.

Please Note: If generating a document for an Inactive user, the 'Download' option must be used. The option for 'Generate and Email' is only enabled for Active users - it will be disabled if an Inactive user is selected.
