2414180 - Notifications tab - Send emails to me / Read messages in the system

• Is it possible to remove, hide or permission "Notifications" from the Options menu?
• What do the options 'Read messages in the system' and 'Send emails to me' mean?

• The Notifications tab under Settings is to specify whether users will receive Email notifications, company-wide.
  Select your account icon (right most part)- Click on Settings > Notifications
• Notifications appears in the Settings menu as part of system design.
  It is not possible to hide/remove/ RBP permission Notifications. However, in Company System and logo Settings page, there is a setting called "Restrict email notification preference settings to administrators only." which allows company admins to control the permission whether to allow users to set their notification preferences.
  (Previously this setting was called "This option allows a company-wide setting on whether users will receive Email notifications. If 'checked', all users will receive Email on all workflow related process. If not checked, each user has an option to turn notification on/off.")
• If the option "Send emails to me" is selected, all users will receive emails about all workflow and system generated processes.
• If the feature "Read messages in the system" is selected then user will not receive any notifications from the system. 

Note: Product Management are aware that the text "Read messages in the system" and behavior is confusing and will work on a better solution to be updated in a further release.
