2414708 - Customer Demand cannot be released: It is not possible to release Sales Order XXX item YY. Stock is not available for some items in the delivery group

When trying to Release Customer Demand ABC (ABC means Customer Demand ID) with available stock, the system throws the message below.

"It is not possible to release Sales Order XXX item YY. Stock is not available for some items in the delivery group" (XXX means Sales Order ID) and (YY means item ID).

1. Go to Outbound Logistics work center.
2. Go to Customer Demand view.
3. Search for the Customer Demand ABC.
4. Select the item YY.
5. Select Release.
6. Select With Stock Check.
7. System throws the message:

 "It is not possible to release Sales Order XXX item YY. Stock is not available for some items in the delivery group"

The product for the item YY has been maintained with the Availability Check Scope as Stock and released receipts in horizon for the Planning Area. Hence at the time of ATP confirmation, ATP considers stock + released receipts (this is the reason why there is the available stock).

Although when it is trying to Release the Customer Demand ABC With Stock Check, ATP checks if the quantity can be fulfilled against the actual stock availability in inventory (it does not consider released receipts). And since the released receipts stock has not yet come into the inventory, the demand cannot be fulfilled.

The message is a warning message, so the Customer Demand can be released.  

1. Go to Outbound Logistics work center.
2. Go to Customer Demand view.
3. Search for the Customer Demand ABC.
4. Select the item YY.
5. Select Release.
6. Select Without Stock Check.
